Grrrrr!!!!

Okay, I am now officially pissed off at LJ. First a bunch of my icons disappear and now I'm not getting any LJ notifications or comments. Can't LJ just stop fucking around and leave things alone when they were working fine. LJ, I do hate you sometimes *shakes fist at the LJ PTB*. If I didn't have so many friends here on LJ, I'd be very tempted to leave and go hang out over at Dreamwidth.

So if you happen to comment on my journal and I don't answer you, it's not 'cuz I'm ignoring you, put the blame on LJ. GRRRRR!!!!

I couldn't even get LJ to load on Wednesday night, at the height of the denial-of-service attacks. There are still a couple of lj sites I can't get into, but all should be fixed over the next few days.

I have a DW account also, but my friends all live on LJ so my mail presence is here. I hope you'll stay! Your icons should all be restored soon, they're working on the remaining bugs in the system. And - they've announced that the attacks led to them upgrading their servers, so the site should run faster from now on.

Everything seems to be working at the moment. My icons have returned home and I seem to be getting all my notifications/comments. Hopefully it'll stay that way *crosses fingers*
