Chris Colfer, who is both gay in real life, and plays a gay teenager on the hit TV-show 'Glee', has an important message to all the gay youth: It gets better!

This is his personal message to everyone out there who is having a rough time:

"I know what it's like to be bullied and teased every single day and I know that it may seem like there is no chance of happiness left. But I promise you, there is a world full of acceptance and love just waiting for you to find it. So please, before you take a drastic action that could be your last, call The Trevor Project."

The Trevor Project is the leading, non-profit, organization in the United States focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. This latest spate of suicides has really upset me, Chris. I think the It Gets Better project is amazing and I hope many of our children reach out for the help they need.

It is very sad, hurts my heart to know these kids are out there hurting and feeling like they have no other choice but to kill themself. I really hope the young people out there who need help will call the Trevor lifeline.
