Music Monday
Sep. 13th, 2010 03:43 pmWell, it's Monday once again. Another weekend come and gone and I did a whole lot of nothing. I've been suffering from insomnia for about a month now, so I'm darn exhausted and don't feel like doing much of anything. Thank goodness I only work part time; I'm usually home by 1:00pm. When I come home, I eat then collapse on the sofa. I want to write, but my brain is mush, and I can't concentrate very well. I have been trying to read, though. I'm about half way through Shades of Midnight by Lara Adrian, it's the next book in her vampire based Midnight Breed Series, and it's fantastic!! If any of you like vampire stories I highly recommend this one, as well as The Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward. I assure you, you won't be disappointed by either of these excellent series!!
Since this is Music Monday, here are my recs for you:
killedmedead rec'd this group, Poets Of The Fall, to me a few weeks back and I really like them. They've got a very distinct sound and I love the lead singers voice.
All The Way For You by Poets Of The Fall
The video for this next one is quite odd, but I really like the song.
Carnival Of Rust by Poets Of The Fall
This next singer, Theo Tams, won our Canadian Idol title two years ago. Canada really got it right voting him as the winner, he's a very talented artist, one who I don't think gets enough recognition. His voice is hauntingly beautiful and brings out the raw and emotional feelings of this song.
Wait For You by Theo Tams
Love the message behind this song, to not walk away from love when things get tough. Oh, and I really like how this vid includes all genders... m/f, m/m, and f/f.
